Palawan, Philippines has become one of my favorite places I’ve ever traveled to so far. It included several airplane rides and boat rides but it was all worth it! I was a bit bummed that we couldn’t stay longer but we jam packed our 2 days here with tons of activities, food, and of course relaxation by the beach! If you’re looking to go on vacation with a limited budget, I highly recommend Palawan in the Philippines!!
First off, we stayed at this resort called El Nido Resorts in Palagusian Island in Palawan. Yup, there are several different islands in Palawan so once you land on Palawan from the plane, you need to take the resort boat or ferry to get to your resort. As soon as you get to the resort, these lovely ladies from the resort welcoming you and start singing. It’s so cute!
This resort had an infinity pool right by the ocean so I woke up early morning and enjoyed the view. The resort is really small and everyone get’s their own villa so I loved that it wasn’t overcrowded.
I made sure I was wearing a giant hat at all times to hide my face from the sun since I keep getting more and more freckles. I’m wearing a Mara Hoffman bikini (also in this pattern) and Art Youth Society origami plane necklace.
Mara Hoffman Bikini, Splendid Flip Flops that got washed away in the ocean, One Teaspoon Denim Shorts (also in light wash)Instead of hallways, we had a white sand and jungle like hallway at the resort. I’m wearing a Rory Beca flamingo romper, Splendid flip-flops, and Chloe sunglasses.
The only swimming suits I brought with me were the ones from Mara Hoffman. I’m so in love with her interesting cuts and pretty embroidered and beaded details on the swimming suits. This one is so flattering and I’m not going to lie, I’m so not bikini ready! It also comes in plain blue and I’m definitely eye this one and this bikini next!
We also went snorkeling! I don’t know why I’m looking up when I should be looking down! haha
Love this two piece from Ulla Johnson. Really loving the eyelet details! Btw, look how humungous the coconuts in the Philippines are! I think we consumed all the coconuts in this island because towards the last days, they were out of coconuts.
